7 3-A Game of the week, Venus vs Glen Rose

The Game of the week will be Venus 0-2 in district 4-3 for the season vs Glen Rose 0-2 in district 2-5 for the season. This game will go a long way
determining the final playoff spots in the district. Stephenville and Alvarado have the DIV I spots wrapped up, Hillsboro has the inside track for the DIV II top seed.

Last week Alvarado wore down Glen Rose in the second half and claimed a 34-15 win. Venus took it on the chin from the Champs 55-7, Venus also lost their starting tailback
to an injury. Both teams are feeling the effects of a long season, so who musters enough ambition to snag the final playoff spot?

Glen Rose will win..Hayden Holder will be the best athlete on the field..GR is better than i than i thought they would be..Venus is actually well coached, just not enough athletes.

Yeah I have no doubt Glen Rose wins tomorrow night. The real game will be next Friday at Hillsboro. Been a long time since we have played Hillsboro with them having something to play for! Happy for them! they earned it!
