Bellville is 7-2, not 6-3.

Didn't realize NUNN (not Dunn) rushed for another 200 yds. He is damn near unstoppable. Wharton was no match for the Brahmas, at all...

I had watch Wharton defeat Columbus & was a bit surprised when EC did a number on the Tigers. The Tigers were athletic & very quick, especially on defense. Bellville got off to their usual good start & went up 13-0. Watching the Brahmas this season, they have struggled to keep up their intensity throughout the entire game, and especially after getting an early lead. Wharton battled back to tie the game at the half & then threatened to take the lead after recovering an early 3rd quarter fumble. Bellville's defense was up for the challenge, stiffened & forced the Tigers to punt. Bellville then went on a 92 yard drive, primarily running every play up the middle. After hearing someone mention their favorite ice cream was Homemade Vanilla, things started to make sense. I had watch the Tigers use their sideline to sideline speed to defeat a speedy Columbus team. El Campo loves to play a smash mouth, but with a very "vanilla" offense. If anybody knows how to beat Wharton, I would say it would be the Ricebirds. The Bellville running game had struggled to get outside on the quick Tiger defense. IMO, this is when the Bellville OC took a page from the El Campo offense. Great to see a team adjust on the move, give credit to the Bellville coaches.
