Case Keenum and Texans on top of Chiefs 10-7. Always liked the style of Case Keenum---he just finds a way to get it done--just a winner. Hope he can work some magic for the Texans.

So far he has played smart and has had some good throws.

Case has played very well. I was a big skeptic, but if he continues like this win or lose, he'll probably have the startin job the rest of be way.

Damn, that sucks for Cushing.

That the same knee he tore up last year?

Houston is going to choke again as usual.

No choke here, Phil. Win or lose the Texans have played valiantly with heart and desire despite a ton of key injuries. Hardly any boneheaded plays. Just no answer for the KC blitz.

Can't win a game with just field goals

All things considered, we win if Kubiak calls a better game on first and a foot near the KC end zone. Defense was pourous at times but made some big stops. Oline gave up too many sacks in the 2nd half. Newton had no business in the game. Harris has earned the starting job.

Agreed on all fronts. Texans have to score TDs. The number of fgs this team tries is disgusting

All these injuries are killing the Texans. This bye week coming up will help heal and get health

Foster was banged up during the week, yet Kubiak didn't activate Cierre Woods?

With Foster out & Tate injured, having another RB active (aside from Greg Jones) would have REALLY helped this team today. Too many times, Case was having to throw from an empty backfield.

Same knee...torn LCL, broken fibula.

Gotta outlaw blocking low! Only should be allowed with the snap by OL, initial contact. Everything after that should be above the waist...........

Can't touch the QB anywhere now for the most part, BUT running backs and full backs and receivers can go flying in a 100 MPH and cut block low on LB's and DB's. Not right, not right, not right!!! Its just a matter of time when one gets a leg or knee broke. Stupid at all levels HS, college and pros

Updates look a little more promising long term for Cushing

If you outlaw that block then RB's and QB's are going to get killed every blitz..no way Charles can pick up a full speed Cushing up high and be able to do anything but get run over...and he was not going for knees he went low..bad luck that is all that was...you cannot simply outlaw every type of collision that might cause injury

I agree, I'm not complaining about it. It's football. It happens. I think people just want to know why WRs and qbs are protected from hits that might cause injury but defensive players aren't

yea I can understand that...this play though IMO is just sound blocking technique

Apparently Burnet is the only team in Texas that can beat the Chiefs.

And I agree with that. I'm not one of the ones bitching about the hit. It's just unfortunate.

Wonder if Dallas takes a chance on the DE and RB with depth issues

That came to mind.

According to 610 Sports Radio Houston...

A source close to Jefferson claims that they were smoking cigars in the bathroom of their hotel room. Someone passing by noticed the smell and alerted team officials.

Heard this a few minutes ago on the drive home from work.
