It's 6 pm and I'm sitting in my storage building out behind my house watching this huge high thick 10 point buck with his harem of doereens at the feeder. I live approx. 8 mi. outside of town on the Mason hwy on 40 acres. I have my bow with me and there is a pellet trough about 35 yards from my window. The feeder is about 90 yds away. Man this buck is a real beauty. I've seen 2 other shooters that are a little bit bigger...one a 9 pt. and the other a mainframe heavy 8 with lots of mass. He's about 6.5 yrs imo, with a slight belly and back sway and a big roman nose. They are just now starting to stay with the does. I have deer all over my back pasture every day. I'll end up taking one of the big boys, just a matter of when and which one.
