We would like for someone to attend the Region GOTW and call in to the 3ADL Postgame Show Friday nights starting at 11pm to discuss the ballgame (254) 640-1099

I think we will find out what kind of mettle the Rockets have after this one.

And the Cadet's are coming off a 34-28 win over Lorena.

Yes they are, still I wonder about whether Lorena is living off of their past few seasons. Time will tell.

I'm somewhat surprised you have them ranked in your Regional polls at all and that you're excluding Connally. I think you have Robinson too high, but it's just my opinion.

Connally is the next team in line for Region III.

I don't see how Rocket Man can think his Rockets are too highly ranked with the kind of offensive numbers that team keeps putting up. But I guess we'll find out this Friday nite against a good Connally team, huh? The big question is what kind of defense does the Cadets have and how many points have they averaged giving up so far? And do they have a good secondary? And if it's a shootout, how many points does their offense avg/game? I just don't think a team that has scored at will like Robinson has so far suddenly turns off the faucet, even against a good defensive team. Any thoughts or opinions???

Our opponents so far have been of the weaker sort, so I'm waiting for the team to prove itself against a higher quality opponent. If they beat Connally by 2 or 3 TD's, THEN I'll agree with putting them up there. I guess I'm just remembering last year's 6-0 start and then cratering the last 4 games; though the only blowout in those last 4 was against LaVega in the last game.

Fair enough?

Sounds kinda like the same scenario Fairfield was in before they played Navasota. I'm not saying that Connally is on the same level as Navasota, or that Robinson is equal to Fairfield's level either, but the scenario is very similar.

Connally has played a much higher level schedule. Their only loss was to Cameron. I will take Connally on this one.

And I wished you a Happy Birthday...just joking.

Is the Feliciano kid still hurt?

That's okay, I got the 411 from my son, but will keep it to myself.

Interesting to see that for the 2nd week in a row the Region III GOTW is in District 17.

Last week, Maxpreps had Connally, Lorena, and Robinson at 99, 100, and 102 amongst all classifications. That is close and I think on any given night, one could take the other. Connally is very physical and fast. I trust that Robinson is a tough team also. We will see Friday night.
