Will Bellville win handily?

I would hope so. They have been getting beaten pretty badly, I think this is a good game to have before playing Wharton. Not looking forward to fighting off the man-sized mosquitoes in Brookshire though.

After todays rain I think you may be under estimating their size a bit.

Brookshire was Big and Athletic back when Brandon Williams was there. Since he graduated they have fell off.

That guy was a STUD, I'm sure glad he transferred to Aggieland! Next year after Malena leaves he should have a breakout year. But back to HS, does anyone know what kind of offense and defense Brookshire is running this year. I heard they are mostly throwing the ball, can anyone confirm this?

They run the spread. Unless Bellville falls asleep at the wheel they win by 21+ in this one.

Their QB is a really good one but there's not much to go along with him. They throw about 2 to 1 and can't stop the run at all. You will have guys carry the ball in the second half that probably haven't carried it since the eighth grade. I have to admire their kids for not quitting no matter how tough the sledding. They don't have a freshman team this year. They are all on the JV or varsity.

Usually only D26 has polls for these kind of games. Scoop must have caught the poll fever at one of them picnics over there somewhere.

i Hear Columbus has a pitcher topping out at 91 One of the coaches told me he isnt playing basketball and Florida state is looking at him. Didnt catch his name though..Does anyone know who he is?

That would be Nick Masarik , he plays on the Houston Heat team with Trey Supak from La Grange. Both are very solid pitchers, Supak is committed to UH.

Got so excited to see FBB back that I forgot to give my thoughts on the game.

Bellville should win handedly unless it gets too "foggy". I say 35-13.

This could be the worst thread of the year...I've been on Wharton vs. El Campo thread this week because they're actually going to be in a dog fight this week. I just want to see Nunn rush for 250+ and maybe Allen and Parker rush for 50+ each. Bellville wins 56-7.

What is happening over there at the Pasture of Plain? Them brahmas were talking state championships not too long ago now it seems like winning district might be highlight if the year? Their bellys full from too much of the award winning jalapeņo cheese summer sausage from poffenburgers?
