Cuero's only loss was by one point to #3 Wharton. Cuero has also beat #8 Ingleside yet they are #10??????

Just an observation of the video highlights.. Vernon didn't look too impressive. Maybe in person they are.

A lot more impressive in person. They are not world beaters but will make a run in region 1.

Just an observation of the video highlights.. Vernon didn't look too impressive. Maybe in person they are. they are fast enough and play hard enough to give most 3A teams trouble. Some more than others. I was surprised and also able to see how much the steers have improved. Vernon is fast no doubt and as you can tell from last year we needed improvement against speedy explosive offenses.

Like I said, it was just an observation from the video. Looked like the tempo and speed of the game was slower than I expected. That's all. Steers shouldn't have another challenge until playoffs. Wish you guys the best. Going to be another fun year.
