its really good too. Some of the largest onion rings you will ever see. But if your going there get there between 5-6 or you will be waiting a while

Kinda spruced up the visitor press box a little. Added some paint at the home concessions. Adding a fence along side the track to keep you jackets on your own side! :D:D
That's about it! Well other than turfing the baseball and softball fields but that's old news.

Apparently there are a bunch of underclassmen playing. Lost a big senior class.
Based on last nights scores, their sub-varsities are terrible (maybe their best underclassmen are on varsity?).
Thought about going to the game, just going to listen to it. Snoozer over by the 2nd quarter.

yeah he is a coaches kid. very athletic. he was hurt though not sure if he is back.
And our JV is very depleted due to injuries

The whole squad is very young and injury has also hit them pretty hard. No depth

That's what I'm think Sville. Rebuilding year for the Tigers. I'm sure they play as hard as they can hoping for some turnovers. They will come to play.

I am really confused by this post. I hope my sarcasm detector is faulty tonight. Stephenville scored on 6 of 7 first half possessions and shutout GR in the first half. The starters only gave up one score...:doh:

Lol, well with a bye last week and only a 30 mile trek down the road... it was pretty convenient. Not to mention "pink out" and it's always a treat to see those plush facilities! :thumbsup:

Glen Rose will be a more experienced team next season. Coach Dunn is doing a great job there.

We only had 5 plays in the 3rd qt. Was Smitty at the same game? 398 yes of offense at half and they had 38 yes. Some of The penalties were lack of game management from some weak officials.

I was there....after giving it some thought I clearly misspoke my thoughts. After halftime the game became grueling to watch, with all the flags being thrown for silly calls by the officials. Not only that I have this thought in the back of my head that the Jackets are going to have (I'm pretty sure) 3 more games just like this one. The starters come out and dominate the first half, then the reserves come in and it gets sloppy. Look I realize that the reserves work hard all week just like the starters and they need or deserve some playing time along the way. What happens in the playoffs when we come up against a true contender....am I a worry wart? let me have some of your thoughts on what this team is going to do. One half is not going to cut it in the playoffs. Maybe at least three full quarters of dominant football for the for the starters, then bring in the reserves for playing time in the fourth? Face it, this team is not going to be tested in district play and I would hate to see them lose their edge.

I told someone near me if you are to crowded go to the home team side. It looked less than half full over there.

I think they were all at Hollywood & Vine, went there for something to eat before the game....the place was packed! Service was awful, food was terrible, late to the game (missed the first TD). A real disappointment! I have eaten there several times in the past with great food and service, but I might not go back now!
