I voted as a homer, but I ain't gonna lie, this will in way, shape, or form be easy for the Coogs. I'm worried about our run defense.

If Sweeny can maintain T.O.P. and not have turnover's I think the Dog's can get the win. I'm just worried about LM hitting the big plays on us.

This is the 7th match up between Sweeny and La Marque (series tied 3-3)

Since I didn't go to Etheredge (sp?) last year this will be the first time I have seen LM and Sweeny play. We almost played my Soph year in the 4A Region final but we lost to LCM on a last second FG the week before.

After seeing La Marque against Lamar Consolidated, I came away impressed how solid LM was up front. I dont think it shows in thier results just yet because of the killer schedule they have played. I really think it starts showing this week.

2012 - La Marque 19, Sweeny 0Most of this series was played a long long time ago!! How far are the towns apart?? You would think that if they were in the same district now, there paths would have crossed more since 1945.

Yeah G2 doesn't live in the Houston area so he didn't get to see it but I did.....I saw some weaknesses but LM also has had 2 weeks to prepare for our Slot T. I'm sure the Coogs coaching staff will come up with a way to slow down our offense.....I think?
