FYI:

John Danks, Round Rock HS, was taken 9th by the Texas Rangers! eek! This is the guy local Corpus Christi Moody will probably see in the semi-final game!

congrats to Brad Sullivan from Nederland. He was drafted by Oakland yesterday. I know that Nederland isn't 3A, but my son competed against Brad when BC was still 4A. Brad is a great guy, and I wish him all the best wink

What about Adrian Alaniz? The Corpus paper said there was a chance he would be drafted in first 20 rounds. I guess this means he will probably start his baseball career with the Longhorns!!

There's still a chance, they finish up the draft today. Paper was thinking he'd go on the first day, but who knows?

former Forney P/SS Josh Geer picked in the 16th rd. (I think) by Tampa Bay - Josh is at Navarro now
