I remember watching the game when he got his first start. He replaced (beat out) Bill Bradley from Palestine who went on to play DB for Philadelphia Eagles.

Is his son Houston still pitching in the majors? I think in those days it was James Street and Jim Bertleson that made that offense go. I still watch the old clips and remember how it was back then...I was just a schoolboy back then and my scope of the world was limited.
