Bridge City vs. Newton

Can any one (who is not biased towards BC nor Newton) give me their predictions on the match-up coming Nov.2?

Well thats a tough question but i have no affiliations with either team so Ill take a stab. Seems to be two pretty equal teams so Ill take BC by 3 because of the home field advantage. Good luck to both teams nov2 and in the play-offs

This one of those games I'm sure will be close. If this game came out on tape I'd pay $20 for it. Since I'm not from that area, I'll give it a try... Newton 21-20. Almost too close to call.

I don't see the defence giving up over 14 points,NEWTON 28 BC 14

Since all of the responders except one were from Newton- I will give a Bridge City bias opinion------Bridge City 29-Newton 7, about like last year, but I don't think Bridge City will be able to play their subs all of the second half like last year. Newton relies on the BIG PLAYS to win, but BC has the trackmeet speed to shut that Juking down.

well old cardinal i was wondering name the one person who isnt from newton. i know i am not from there. i will say this it will be a good game and i hope it lives up to all the hype i think it will i just dont know if bridge city has the athletes newton does but if they play a flawless game that can beat a more talented team but that is asking a lot. It will be a great game though

Hype is right, BC freshman and JV have been playing the 3rd and 4th period the last 2 weeks so don’t think the 22 points are all BC can score ,in last game.
Think about that !
If Newton wants to compete , then the Cards will do so , unlike the score last year I was very disappointed in 3A district its all about the 12th game and State Bond . GO CARDS !
