The Daingerfield vs. Gilmer game has been rescheduled for 11 AM Saturday due to inclement weather according to my sources. I guess the Tigers have been granted a stay of execution.:evilgrin:

The Tyler Lee vs. Texas High game has also been rescheduled for tomorrow at 1 PM.

I seriously doubt the extra 16 hrs. will be enough time for them, except to settle some last-minute details before their ultimate demise in this game upcoming, lol.

I heard the Orange Grove-Aransas Pass game has been cancelled and rescheduled for tomorrow night at Callallen.

The Tyler Lee / Texas High game at Grim in Texarkana has been moved to 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.

The Tigers are usually competitive for at least a half, until our depth takes over. This year may be a little different, though. This is a rivalry game that Gilmer keeps on their schedule. I think it helps Daingerfield, too, knowing that Gilmer will be the best team they will face all year in all likelihood.

Is the game between Celina and Liberty-Eylau in Royse City still going on as scheduled? I know some Gilmer fans have expressed an interest in seeing that one if it didn't conflict with our game and now it doesn't.

No reason not to play the field has turf.........We have turf also..............but somewhere around 7 to 8 inches of rain and still falling has made travel somewhat difficult in parts of the region.

Rain is already clearing out from north to south. East Texas and Central Texas is still getting hammered, but in the Metroplex it's going to be a fast track.

Don't know why Crandall canceled — they have turf. Maybe GR couldn't get out.

As of right now, Burnet / Canyon Lake is still on. CL has a turf field so drainage not a problem. Hope the lightening stays away!
