Last year, Sinton scored 55 points by halftime.

came out of the locker room and less than a minute scored again to make it 62-20. Sinton took out its starters after that..

final was 62-26 Sinton last season.

Sinton qb had 6 tds in this game last season as a sophomore, 3 running and 3 passing.

This game will most likely be in the rain and mud so this might change the way the game might be played. Protect the football and field position might be of importance if its terrible playing conditions.

Sinton comes in with the 9th highest scoring team in 3a after 3 games.

Weather may be a factor and travel could be a factor but I put my money on the Pirates Team and its Coaching Staff. All should go well and wave to my friends at the Checkpoint and tell them Utah sent ya!!

Hopefully this game gets moved to a turf field, Sinton played CC Ray in a down pour earlier in the season in a scrimmage during live qtr action and that was on turf.

Sinton by 14. Lack of defense for Sinton will keep this game closeRaymondville had over 500 yds of offense last season and lost 62-26. Sinton offense is good enough to score those points again but the defense has to start getting some 3 plays and punt outcomes. One of the reason Sinton hasn't used 2nd string despite scoring a lot of points is that they're still in a tight game.

Some times you just have a bad game. This was not the same offense that put 60+ on TM. The defense has been questionable all season. Was on the field and the grass seemed a bit long. Boys looked like they were running in sand. District is gonna be tuff.

Boys looked like they were running in sand. District is gonna be tuff. That's how it look, some early shots deep the timing just wasn't there that normally they would connect for 6. Defense actually came strong in the first qtr, -14 yds for Raymondsville but after that 1st down for the Bearkats the bad tackling appeared and it went down hill from there. 2nd half became which defense would make the stops.

Sinton got the ball at the 5 yd line after a fumble by Raymondville and couldn't punch it in. Offense still moved the ball but still an off night for what this team can do offensively. We all know they're giving their best defensively but hopefully they figure it out soon.

Credit to Raymondville. They made plays to win the game. We looked flat and completely out of sync. If that's their best defensively then we should all be worried about making the playoffs. SMH....just terrible. It's almost a surprise and a thing of beauty when someone actually TACKLES!!! I have never seen so many piss poor attempts at "tackling" than I did tonight. Better get it together & figured out quickly!

Sounds to me like the Sinton team weaknesses are showing up now. That's what predistrict is all about. Football is a game of improving weekly while dealing with setbacks to replace injured players. How quickly can the team improve on defense? What is the strength of the team? Who are the players that can be leaders on offense and on defense? Will they accept that responsibility on the field and will their teammates accept it? This is called coming together and gelling as a team. There's plenty of football left to be played this season. Good luck to the Pirates going forward.
