I am going to pick the upset here....HF 21 Anahuac 17. I think HF may have really put themselves in check after the BC loss, and maybe Anahuac after playing a weak squad may have a false sense of security.......a long shot, but I'll go with the upset on this one.

Anahuac- 28 HF- 7
Anahuac has a good defense and they will go in ready for HF even though they played a pretty weak team in Buna, they will be ready.

Does HF have any speed on defense? Anahuac has a few guys that can break away from you, if the Defense doesnt have much speed then they are gonna score all night.

HF defensive Speed is to slow to contain the Anahuac offense, Anahuac by 21.

I usually have a strong opinion, but I don't on this one. H-F, tried to exploit BCs weak pass defense of the previous 3 games. However, it looks like good team practices may have solved some of the problems since BC picked off 4 or 5 passes. If H-F sticks with there running game, and does not try much funny stuff, they could "ball control" enough to hold down Anahuac. If Anahuac turns it over, more than 3 times, they lose-if not, and H-F can't control the ball using the clock, then it will be an easy Ana. win....Anahuac has been lucky with no injuries this season, they have 11 great players, but their depth is a question mark.

i believe anahuac will come away with this game, H-F's team is lacking speed which hurts them in a big way, i dont think they can shut down the panthers O, but who knows, it depends on turnovers which could change the whole outcome

i dont think H.F's offense can move the ball good against Anahuac's fast Defense. The're not fast enough on to slow down Anahuac's offense either...
but turnovers will make a big difference in the game also, but im going with Anahuac 35-0

H-F has no team speed. The Panthers will have to totally self-destruct to lose this one. Speed kills and Anahuac has it, the Longhorns don't. H-F is a sound team but the lack of speed will haunt them Friday night. This one could get ugly.

Really though besides Barbers Hill, Anahuac has played a really weak schedule. Not that HF is a superior team, but I think this one is a barn burner waiting to happen. It seems I am the only one picking the upset here......but I will stick with my prediction. I know it's a long shot, but I think the weak schedule will hamper Anahuac.

O.K. What the heck!!! Go Longhorns, lol

I am going to change my prediction here from the earlier post, I said 27-20....Well, now I'm going to go against the odds and say, Hamshire Fannett by 6.

2 hrs til' kick off.....
