17-3A described as somewhat weak this year with young teams, but top 4 teams are 3-0 - Connally, Lorena, China Spring, Robinson. Granted, not the strongest schedules, but none the less, district play will be much more competitive than predicted by most.

Frisco Lone Star 54 Lake Worth 20>>>Thurs. nite score. Frisco Lone Star is now 3-0 on the season and scoring lots of points.
Sanger 50 Pilot Point 17. Look out for Sanger in District 9. They lost last week on the last play of the game by 2 pts, I believe. They didn't win a single game last season.

Celina 54
Argyle Liberty Christian 30
This is a good win for Celina, imo. They continue to increase their offensive production each week. Celina will be a very formidable opponent for Argyle this season. That game will be in Week 10....in Argyle.

Port Isabel - 14
Raymondville - 0
FINAL
The game was called with 4 minutes left in the 2nd Quarter. Very close lightning strike to the stadium sent the teams to the locker rooms. Due to the fact there were even more storms incoming to the Raymondville area, officials deciced to call it and declared PI the winner.
Tarpons were on the Raymondville 11 yard line threatening to score, when referees called a 30 weather delay intermission. During the intermission it was determined by school officials to cancel the game. Tarpons were dominating in all facets of the game.

Regal,
I love my bobcats, and our Coaches, but no, Celina will not be a speed bump in the road for Argyle this year, because Argyle is that good and you know it. Argyle and Gilmer will go DII and I just don't there are any teams in our region that can stay close to these two teams. I know that sounds like I am being hard on Celina, but what I am actually trying to say is that Argyle and Gilmer are just that much better than any team in our Region who will go DII. Celina still might be a year or two away from having the kind of team that Argyle has this year.

They are going to be a good team. Krum is struggling the loss of their QB. It's wide open in district 9
