Some friends from Port Isabel went and scouted out Rio Hondo. They said they weren't that impressive. Sinton should roll.

Rio Hondo does have one kid on defense that is pretty good, if they keep him off Sinton qb, the Pirates should have good success passing. Homecoming game for Sinton.

I'm scouting Bellville, Sweeny, La Marque for sure, and any other team that seems to be making noise near the Houston area. Trust me, there are Tarpons everywhere looking at potential future opponents.

Sinton had 4 different drives from Yoakum 15 and didn't score, still put up 35 points but missed out 4 times to add 4 more tds.

Rio Hondo comes in holding opponents to an avg 186.5 per game, Sinton offense rolling at a clip of 545 yards per game offensively. Defense vs Offense :)

Sounds to me like Sinton, homecoming notwithstanding, will be ready to explode tonite. This is about the time of the season when a team that will be a very good team this year starts to flex its muscle. We'll see how this game evolves. Sinton seems to have every advantage to win easily. Are they for real???

If Sintons defense doesn't show up soon it will be a short run in the playoffs. Ingelside and Orange Grove are much better then Rio Hondo!!!!! Just my 2 cents.

yep, still early and imo they're better this season but tackling has to improve to get better defensively.

8 receivers see action for Sinton, 2 are seniors, 2 are juniors and 3 are sophmores and 1 freshman. Rb sr, backup a sophomore and qb a jr. Lineman on both sides is mostly all sr.

its a mixture of soph,jr and sr team with only 35 players, which is one of the least amount of players in varisty we have had in a while.

Ingleside has a ton of seniors but the defensive and offensive lineman are young. It sounds like you guys have some good ones coming up.

There are a few young ones at some keys positions. They are learning on the fly.
No. 53 from Rio Hondo was a beast, but got torched by Guzman on multipule plays at the line.
