What an embarassment for Baylor University! Baylor is a ranked team and has a televised game. The stands are MAYBE 1/4 full. I think that there where more people at the El Campo game last night.

Why in the hell are they building a new stadium again???

"we gotta buy a bigger tarp..."

We actually got some texts from friends in town who said, with a 2:00 start, they weren't going today - too hot.

I'm a big Baylor fan but even if it was the national championship- I would not have been sitting in 101 degree heat!! Much less to watch buffalo!

TCU was pretty barren too. Why sit in the heat for a blowout when you can stay in the AC and continue drinking beer?

What has been said on this thread is why TCU and Baylor bring no monetary value to any conference.

Just Rose Bowl victories and Heisman Trophies..

TCU hasn't won a rose bowl for the Big 12.

I went last week and it was literally 110 at kickoff. Today they showed the thermometer at kickoff on TV and it was 117 on the field. They almost sold out last week for Wofford and sold about 40K of 45K seats for the game today. Honestly, if they were really worried about filling it up they would've kicked off at 6 and it would've sold out. A 2:30 game in Waco the first week of Sept is a stupid idea.

If the Bears keep playing how they have been then they will be full the rest of the year. And by full I mean they will pull the infamous tarp that so many people seem concerned about.
