Sounded like a defensive battle for much of the game, but Coldspring just couldn't hold on to the ball. I think three fumbles were lost inside the red zone. Jordan Wells for Navasota had another monster game, with a handful of big loss tackles and at least one sack. Good job by the Rattlers going in and throwing a shutout against a good team on the road.

Wow, crazy game. If I would have headed that way as soon as our game ended I might have been able to catch the end of the half time show and the 2nd half.

Congrats to the Leopards for starting basketball early! Saw some of the hightlights and they were crazy. We have Salado this week. Heard their QB had 611 yards passing. I'm glad he did that early so maybe we can see some of the tricks to be best prepared.

I hear ya! I just couldn't resist. lol I tell ya, I was very impressed with Gilmer just at 7 on 7 and know that the Buckeyes would be scary good this season in "real" football. A Gilmer/Argyle playoff game would be a game I would want to see! Y'all have fun beating up those other East Texas teams (especially Kilgore :D) before the Ville get's deep enough this season (fingers crossed) to play one of them. Hopefully Carthage.
