Glad you got to go and see him play! Keep us posted on how they do.

Notice to all, if you look at the 3rd pic (and some others), you'll see that LH has an artificial practice field AND a full grass practice field too behind the stadium. Top notch.

New baseball & softball next to each other (behind visitor's dressing room), new tennis courts (behind visitor's ticket gate), two new concession stands at football field, new field house, new practice fields, one of which will also be for soccer (yes we do have soccer coaches!). I haven't been in the school yet, but Malcom said it is beautiful!

OK - I love the new stadium, but I have one minor complaint if you will. They put tin on the underside of the bleachers. Why does this matter you ask? prevents the Breeze from coming up from under neath to help cool things down. Now in a short time, I expect I'll withdraw this complaint as that tin will keep that cold wind from coming up my backside!!! Other than that it is a wonderful venue.

It looks surprising similar to the Wimberley field.

Hey Deb,
Next time you go - let me know if you see #79 (Kocian) playing on the offense. I think he is a tackle, but as a freshman he may still be on the sidelines. He is my nephew - brother to other nephew who just graduated from there. Thanks - and Hope your boy is doing well there and enjoying his football career at UIW.

Any relation to Thomas Kocian of Dallas via Wharton??....just wonderin'....Kocian not a very common name I don't think....

I would like to see new stadiums get away from having tracks so the stands can be closer to the action.

Old Czhec (sp?) family out of San Antonio - in laws might be related to those up in Dallas but I don't know.

And maybe it's because I'm not related, but they really don't look alike, though they do look like their parents, especially Quintin.
