How many are seniors?
Curious to see how depth and experience will come into play this year in 3A.

I think the paper said we have 50 or 51 and my count was 33 seniors.

I cant remember exactly but I think we had about 45 on the team. Well over half are underclassmen.

I don't know if it is directly related or not to the lawsuit; SHS has disbanded the "Sophomore team" and only have one JV team now at Stephenville. There are 60ish on the JV and they are carrying an addition 7-8 on the Varsity this year because of the log jam. I think Stephenville's varsity if there was no lawsuit would have around 40-45 on the team. That is a pretty normal number for us. I think it also has to do with filling the schedule at the 3A level.

Sinton has 34 with 15 seniors I believe. Quite a bit down from the last few years where the total number varsity players was around 40-45. Don't know what happened unless they put some on JV to get more playin time before they move em up.

I believe Argyle is suiting 56 players this season.....31 seniors, 10 juniors, and 15 sophs. Of course, that could change and I did see one player on the sidelines in street clothes with his jersey on. I don't know how many injuries there are yet.

Yeah its a bunch of kids. The current 8th grade has about 100.

i know Alvarado has 30 SRs and about 35 JRs..with that being said, i know with 2 sophs on varsity, by district probably 50-55 on Var. roster

I knew it was very low and has to be concerning as a coaching staff. I guess it happens like that but that is a very drastic drop in numbers. The kids who make It sure do deserve a pat on the back for the hard work and dedication.

I believe Liberty Hill has 52 on Varsity. Not sure of seniors but 20 something.
