Does Brownwood ISD not take Labor day off?

Reminder: All Brownwood ISD schools will be in regular session on Monday, Sept. 2nd (Labor Day). All classes will be held as usual.

The word about Labor Day being a holiday hasn't made it to Brownwood yet.

We had to drop one holiday because we picked another one. Also, just doesnt make since to start school then have a holiday.

You'd think I would remember since I am board member. However, I cant remember which one it is for the life of me right now.

I understand what you are saying. I remember when I was in school, We started school on a Thursday and then had Monday off for labor day. The next year we started the Tuesday after Labor Day.

TAMU @ college station has to work Monday. Don't know about classes.
