I nominate the Golden Tors as the team of the week with their win over Merkel. Lamesa was only playing for pride and to end the season on a hgih note. Merkel needed the win to make the playoffs. It was by far the best Lamesa played all year, even in the 1st 2 wins. Great eneding to a very disappointing season. Good Job Tors and thank you for not giving up.

They seemed to step it up the last two weeks with a close game against Snyder and then upsetting the Badgers. Guess the Badgers tack one more year onto the streak.

Yep one more year. This district is unbelievably tough. Lamesa shouldhave some good experience with their underclassman this year with all the injuries they had. Hopefully the experience will pay off. Good luck to the Mustangs in the playoffs and tell Carillo to run like hell. :cool:
