Daingerfield Tigers
School Colors: Blue, Red, and White
Last Year 6-5 playoff team
Starters Returning: 6 offense 8 defense
Key Players: DB Jermaine Mitchell, TB Nick Wallace, DB Martelius Epps
Matthew328's outlook: Tradition rich Daingerfield is looking for another big year and with 14 starters back it could mean big things out in Morris County...Last year the Tigers were extremely young and showed that with their play on the field by having numerous peaks and valleys all season..6-5 isn't the norm for the Tigers so don't look for that this year....Realignment puts Daingerfield in a very tough district so making the playoffs isn't a given...The Tigers do have back Wallace who takes the TB duties over from his brother Dwayne....many think Nick has the talent to be an even better back...Mitchell and Epps are a speedy and hard hitting tandem...QB Kris Nix had a rough sophmore season look for big improvements from him...if the Tigers are in a close game kicker Craig Mcfarlin is one of the best in East Texas...if the Tigers talent pans out like it is expected look for a season much like that of 2000 when Daingerfield threatened to win it all..but if the erratic play continues then Daingerfield could be sitting at home after Week 10....personally I think the Tigers have too much experience and talent and they will be a big time force..
