1957 Movie Classic: Band of Angels(Clark Gable, Yvonne DiCarlo, Sidney Portier)

If you like older movies, or in this case a Clark Gable movie.....this one is on Encore Western now. Gable is a wealthy New Orleans plantation owner during the Civil War as the Northern troops finally infiltrate the city and surrounding plantations. I'll leave you to watch the action yourself. The other starring roles are impressive with a young Yvonne DiCarlo and youthful Sidney Portier. For you younger viewers that may not know, Clark Gable was quite the debonaire ladies man in his movies back then....and this movie portrays him dead on for the many roles he was cast in.
