There’s a lake west of Corpus Christi called Tule Lake that years ago was named Tule oso so the school close by was named Tuloso. There also was a school in the area named Midway because it was midway between Calallen and Corpus. When the merge happened, , Tuloso Midway.

Gong to be interesting to see Sinton's offense with mostly new offensive linemen. Sinton sure has some big freshman playing varsity ball this year.

Owens kid has looked good on defense, had 4 sacks in the Ray scrimmage with 2nd team and 2 sacks against Beeville. Scored twice against Beeville and score in live action against Ray from inside the 20 yd line. Run defense has looked good in both scrimmages.

Sinton has the offense to put up a good amount of points in this game. Hoping to see a solid performance on defense Friday.

We shall see Friday. Wish I had a roster but it hasn't been updated on max preps. And I don't find one anywhere else.

Knew Coach Owens son would be a stud. How big is he now? Was a monster in 7th grade. DOMINATED!!! He'll be a top recruit when that time comes around IMO. Good luck Pirates.

He is about 6'1 or 6'2. He's been use some as wr and has lineup in the backfield also. Dominated the Ray offensive lineman on 2nd team as he was in the qb face on almost every play. 1st string lineman for Ray went low on him to slow him down a bit a few times. Sinton has two good defensive ends already with same height as him but he should see some playing time hopefully on defense and offense early in the season.
