Hard game to pick. [B]port played well in their scrimmage against [B]wood. Looks like they are much improved over last season with several key lettermen returning. Columbia is mostly Sophs & Juniors this year with little varsity experience. From what I hear they could be a pretty good group by seasons end, but early on could be rough...
Still think Columbia takes the game but I expect it will be close...

Columbia appears to me to be loaded with raw young talent. It likely will be sloppy at first, but I've been very encouraged with what I've heard about the passing game. We've always been able to run the ball and play solid D, so... I'm expecting these young guys to slap bport in the mouth early and often.

No.... Mainly just did it like that because a lot if people on a 3A site wouldn't have any clue who brazosport is, but eh...
