I think so too. 7-10 point difference IMO.

Quintanilla lights up the scoreboard often here. First game on the new turf, place is always packed in Refugio and loud. Nasty place to play. Too many weapons for Ingleside to hang with. Close for half, 55-21 Refugio.

Quintanilla is a great QB. They have a lot of underclassman from what some of the Refugio posters have been saying. What Ingleside does have much more this year is experienced players.

Good, cause I think that experience will experience more of last year again this year. But, your experience keeps it at a respectable margin of victory by Refugio standards. 55-21 not too bad. Those Bobcat youngeons are pretty good. Have fun!!!

Mustang offense will be to much for Refugio this early in the season. Refugio has reloaded but will take them a couple of games to be dominating again.

Ingleside 41 Refugio 30

Herring will come unglued I fear if they don't score more than 55. He is something else for sure. Love to see the tables turned here.

I think it would sting a little seeing as it would be the first home game on their new Astro turf. I think it is a tall order for Ingleside, but from what I understand they have the athletes to do it.

Ingleside's defense was hoorible last year for the first 3 games. Refugio killed the Mustangs in the second half. If experience in the defense helps the Mustangs in this game it might be a different story. If the defense is like last year it will a be a runaway for Refugio.

They implemented a different defense last year. It got better as the season went on.

I guess I did a poor job of saying what I wanted to. After the first 3 games last year our defense started coming together. If the Mustangs can carry that forward to the this game(and they should) we got a shot. If they don't we are in trouble.

This game won't be easy for any team, both teams coming into this game with some if the best QBs in south Texas....this game could go either way depending on who gets hot at the right time..... I going with the homer pick in this one. INGLESIDE:1popcorn:

Too close for me to call, if it comes down to a tie of a win I think both Coaches will go for the win.

I just thought of something... would it be legal for a Coach that Lives in Refugio to beat Refugio. lol

If Ingleside's offense starts clicking early they can be very dangerous.....despite the out come of this game Ingleside will be clicking when playsoffs start and will be poised for a deep run......I'm taking the Mustangs in this one by 2 tds.

The more talented team usually will usually win out and it'll be the same in this game. 10+ point win.

Women of Refugio watch your men!! Them beer swilling, Copenhagen dippin, old ladies of Ingleside are coming to town.

He lives 6 miles west of Refugio so that puts him farther away from Woodsboro but no matter who wins it should be a great game. Two outstanding programs and Athletic Directors.

Good to see all the Ingleside posters, someone has been doing a great job recruiting to the downlow. However, I think the Bobcats pull it out in the 4th quarter if their QB is healthy. If not, Ingleside by 10 points.

He's healthy. Took all the snap's with the #1's last Friday (including 2 live quarters) and showed no sign's of that sore wheel from the week prior. Q is simply amazing, and fun to watch do his thing.

Numerous 3A certainly glad Refugio is 2A, huh? I have no idea how they get them kid's develop the way they do there. Hat's off Ingelside, for even playing them. Some 3A, 4A's will not even consider them any longer as an opponent I know. Might get a nibble from a 3A, 4A next year with Q departing. Dunno. I'm sure they got quality to replace him too. Cat's just don't lose at home either.

55-21 Refugio.

This one is a 100% guess for me to pick. I think Ingleside has the experienced talent, not just experience to win. But Refugio is a tough place to play especially with Herring atthe helm.

Question: How many returners do the Mustangs have this season?

Congratulations on the win Bobcats. I was expecting to see a better showing by Inglesides offense. I have to say that they have a lot of work to do if they want to win district and make some noise in the playoffs. Britt was playing with a knee brace on so I am not sure if he was 100%. Defensively, they played well for 3 qtrs but the guys were worn out by the 4th. The center needs to practice snapping the ball for the next week. He kept snapping it low which disrupted several key plays. I am suprised that the coach just didnt have Tristen take the snaps from under the center. He was also overthrowing the receivers initially and then when he didnt, the WR's droped the ball. The running game looked better than the passing which was not what I expected. The Mustangs will have to dust themselves off and regroup for next week.
