Don't see El Campo beating Waller by 24. Wright will have Waller playing much better this year IMO.

Trust me, they are. West is fair, but--East, sad, sad, sad. Plus, GZ has moved their soph RB to QB (least that's what Coach Lock told me) and that will make that "O" even more successful IMO, by now threatening the edges. VE line is big, but soft. GZ lines are beast's and will thrive on driving it down their throats, over and over and over. Then do it all over again the next series.

Me too. Been over 20 years. And, back then--they had the largest enrollment for 5A schools and still stunk. No "corn fed" hay hailing country boys on that team. Who will do whatever it takes to get 'er done. Ya know?

They were overrated back when Victoria High was winning in the 90's.

We either played them or scrimmaged them every year and would wear them out every time.

They won because they took advantage of playing in a weak Region IV.

Region IV 4a hasn't been weak past several years, Austin area teams have been piling up the state titles.

It's scrimmages man. LOL. VE can't be that bad can they? apparently gave up 9 tds to Alice. 4 of them in 1 qtr live action with Alice backups scoring also on VE 1st string defense. Is it the talent, no.

I'm talking about the early to mid 90's. That was the last time a Victoria team was considered "good".

Palestine is traveling to Waco La Vega, but I see them winning that game by more then 8.

Palestine has looked extremely good in two scrimmages. I know it is early in the year, but they are pretty salty. I think Palestine by 17 or more.
