At least it wasn't for his socks being a certain length.

I saw Elvis Andrus wearing a Venezuela (Soccer?) undershirt last night. Of course, his game jersey was ripped and partially pulled over his head in the celebration, so I guess it was all good.

Apparentlly RGIII was willing to take a hit financially wearing this Tee Shirt, because he had already been fined before for breaking the NFL rules on what he can/can't wear in a post-game interview. He knew the ramifications of what he did, and made his choice. Evidently, he felt the message he was sending was worth the possible fine.

He has been fined and warned before. NFL did nothing crazy or wrong.

Addidas probably tells him to keep wearing the gear and we will pay the fines for you.

The youngest son says that Addidas picks up the fines per his contract. Sounds logical.

If this had been JFF, some on here would be talking about what a thug he is.

JFF would have had some douchy saying on his shirt on and not something inspirational.

JFF isn't worth being mentioned in the same breath here. As many have pointed out that come to his defense, he is a boy still in college. Lets keep the distinction clear between a Quarterback who led his team to the playoffs in the NFL and a college kid because that is how he wants to be viewed. Just a kid.

I'm sorry, who is viewed as a kid? Doesn't one wear Superman and Sponge Bob socks?

I dont see how this is crap...every player in the NFL knows the league's rules and policies regarding uniforms and what can and can't be worn on the sideline..

The one that is brought up in a thread about a professional athlete. JFF has been defended by saying he is just a 20 year old kid and doesn't deserve to be criticized, just let him be a kid. Fine just keep him out of these types of conversations. If you will remember those socks were worn during his Heisman campaign and was a college athlete at that time.

I completely agree there is no feeling sorry for RGIII here. He knows there rules and knew he would get fined. he deserves no sympathy.
