Gilmer will scrimmage Greenville in Gilmer on Friday

As you have probably all heard, tonight’s scrimmage in New Boston has been cancelled due to a terrible tragedy in that community.

Please keep that community and team in your prayers.

A replacement scrimmage has been scheduled with Greenville for TOMORROW IN GILMER.

9/JV will play at 6:00 and Varsity will play at 7:00.

It leaves the Buckeyes with a short week to prepare for the home opener, but I'm glad they'll get more practice in. As good as they looked against Whitehouse, they still need to work on their run blocking, and they need polishing in other areas. They would've been okay either way, but I think practice against another team will help the Buckeyes get ahead of the curve.
