This would have been my guess.

LSU has fit the role of competitive rival for sometime now.

Plus, both schools compete for the same Texas High School athletes.

Both fan bases travel so the all mighty dollar won't suffer either.

LSU is like the 4th or 5th team that ATM has played most in its history. As long as they don't push to play it in Houston, I am good with it.
