Where are some of your school's players these days? It's crazy how I've lost track of so many of them. Besides the obvious Burnet grads, Stephen McGee & Jordan Shipley, here's a few other Burnet kids and their whereabouts:

2012 grad: QB Weston Cozby - Now lives and studies at Hillsong International Leadership College in Sydney, Australia. A Christian singer as well who has released 9 tracks http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/westoncozby(King of Peace)

2011 grad: WR Aaron Thomas - had a nice freshman year at SFA. Probable starter this year. A Dean's List student as well.

2011 grad: DL Travis Meadows - also attending Baylor University
2011 grad: LB Vincent Rivera - majoring in Kinesiology at Angelo State. Will continue graduate studies after graduating in 2014.
2010 grad: LB Taylor Lettermen - attending Texas A&M
2011 grad: OL Grayson Floyd - left to work the oil fields in West Texas. Last I heard he hated it so much he's back home & attending school.

On a sadder note:
2011 grad: WR Brandon Jacque - great talent who could've played at the next level. Kicked off team his senior year. Heard he also took off to West Texas to work but is back in Burnet. Got in a bit of trouble with the law. Hope he can get his life back together. A good kid who just needed some guidance.

2011 Alternative school grad: QB Jackie Dikison - Saw him grow up since 6th grade. Led Burnet 7th and 8th grade teams to undefeated seasons. A super athlete! Quarterbacked his incoming freshmen 7 on 7 team to a state championship win against Lake Travis with wins along the way against Southlake Carroll, Hebron, etc. His primary targets included Jaxon Shipley (UT), Cam McDaniel (Notre Dame), Aaron Thomas (SFA), Josh Barrera, & Brandon Jacque. Jackie quit football after his freshman year. Unfortunately, his life has spiraled downwards. His recent arrest involved a shooting.

2007 grad: LB Alex Ramirez - joined the Marines after high school. Several tours of duty in Iraq & Afghanistan. After serving, last I heard he too is living and working in the oil fields of W. Texas. A fine young man with a lot of smarts. Especially in math. Hope he's continuing his education.

2011 grad: Greendawgs kid - a DB in football. Attending Howard Payne and playing him some baseball. All I can say is that boy better not get beaned by a pitch!...Not with that temper!!!

Years ago the houston chronicle did a weekly minor league report whereas they would put the stats on every minor leaguer who had a Texas connection, high school or college.
I always found that interesting to keep up with.

I guess now maybe baseball weekly or digest may do it.
