Well yeah... Houston isn't good right now... But if you wanna take a positive away from this it's that yet another young Houston starting pitcher pitched well. 6 2/3 2 ER.

The bats will get better when the hitting prospects arrive.

Astros are only going up. Great game by darvishYep their pitching has been pitching well only thing that needs improving is the bullpen but like I told my father in law(astro fan) next year team should be better offensively. This year though offense is a big problem.

Exactly. And bullpen is the easiest to improve via free agency.

Singleton and Springer will be there next year. They've got a decent start already with Altuve, Castro and villar. I think Barnes, Wallace and Dominguez can be average hitters. The offense will still require more help besides that, but that will already be a huge improvement.

I meant to put this on the Rangers' thread.

I have not seen this guy play before that I can recall. I guess both teams really love him..they're just not 'in love' with him. At the same time you know there has to be hundreds of minor leaguers that would gladly go through this in order to remain on a major league roster. Who knows, he just may come up with a huge play or hit to help win a playoff series. Best of luck to him regardless of where he ends up.
