Why?

Do I detect a hint of sarcasm?

No not really. Just curious. ;)

It will be a stretch to say those 2 teams will even meet in the playoffs. Since 4 teams go to the playoffs in 2013, 2 Div 1 and 2 Div 2 schools in each bracket. District 8 will likely have Brownwood and Burnet as Div 1 and District 7 will likely have Stephenville and Alvarado. Who will meet in the first round? Any combination of those teams matching up will be good. Which 2 Div 1 teams do you see coming out of Dist 5 & 6?

You will be otherwise occupied. Only hope is for a different night. Changing ever so slowly to the Columbia Blue.

By the way. Freshman team ... NICE!

Graham could possibly be D2 depending on how everything goes

I agree, they are looking good. Watched practice last night and they have some speedsters.

If I'm not mistaken, the only way Graham goes D2 is if Hirschi makes the playoffs. And that's a long shot.

Well with 4 of the 5 teams making the playoffs, weird stuff can happen. But yeah, my money wouldn't be on Hirschi in football. Bless their hearts.

no such thing as a long shot when four of five teams make the playoffs in a district

That is true. Even if it is Hirschi..

Hirschi would have made it last year. Iowa didn't win a district game.

Never count Hirschi out. They pulled a huge upset my Jr. year on us. Wasn't pretty. Neither were they.

yes if four teams made the playoffs a year ago Hirschi would have made it in

Would that have been '89 at Pennington or '92 in Wichita Falls?
