Coach Wilson took Bridge City to two State Companionship playoff games. BC lost to Brownwood in the 1965 game by a score of 14 - 0 but returned the following year to beat McKinney 36 - 6. These were the years that BC had the great running back Steve Worster. Coach Wilson was highly respected by the players, the other teachers at BC and the entire community. RIP Coach.
