This is Ken Curtis who was Festus on Gunsmoke and that is really him singing. He was an original singer on the Sons of the Pioneers who also sang with Roy Rogers. He was a great supporting actor in many movies and tv series and had a great career. He will most be remembered as Festus but it is good to remember that he had multiple talents.
