Dang, he was my age.

I thought he was older than that, simply because he's been around forever. I don't often go to Dallas, but it seemed like one of the first sights I saw anytime I approached that city was a huge billboard with his photo on it advertising his morning show.

He seemed like a good guy. Once his show was syndicated, it could be heard on a station in Tyler, but I don't ever listen to the radio in the morning. My commute is only a couple of miles each way within the city limits of Gilmer.

I never really listened to him, but from what I've heard he was a good guy and did some good things with his charity. Prayers go out for his family.

Hate to say it, but I never really cared for the guy, even when I was living in the Dallas area. But I respect everything he's done, and I hope he R.I.P. 53 is simply too young an age to die the way he did. Something must have been wrong that went unchecked.

Didnt listen to his show much, but what was fully aware of him and his show. Listening to his crew tell stories about him is really touching, the one intern who he hired in her early 20's just told a story about him paying for the funeral of her young nephew and no one ever knowing about it....it seems like he was a great man who did a lot of wonderful things for his friends and others with his charity work....

Grew up listening to this show. Very sad.
