Somerset Bulldogs

Beware region 4, clearly Somerset is the darkhorse of the region. This team has still not reached it's full potential but, has improved every week. Although, Somerset has clearly changed to an aerial attack offense under Sonny Detmer, (Jake Hernandez QB,Marty DeLoSantos,Joseph Davis, WR and Jordan Davis,SB.)but,do not underestimate their running attack(Jordan Davis TB, and Justin Villanueva FB). Both have been together in the Backfield the last three years. Davis with breakaway speed and Villanueva pounding his way between the tackles or lead blocking for Davis.This offense does not function without fine blocking of the offensive line( Rudy Mendoza, Johnathan Garcia, Rocky Balderamos,Nick James). The Bulldogs stingy defense is led by seniors(Michael Valdez,Matt Witherspoon,Shea Gallaway,Chevy Hernandez,DeLosantos and Davis).
