Just been taking a good look at parking at Southwest Regional Park parking, and unless they allow parking on the grass in fields, this could be ugly. Fields 7-11 on the backside are o.k., but fields 1-5 look like they will be a problem. If teams average 12 cars per team, with 4 teams overlapping every other hour, that's about 100 spaces per field. That's assuming once everybody gets there, they stay most of the day till the end. That also doesn't account for 20 or 30 staff cars. I'm gonna advise my parents pool up a block or two from the complex, and go in with less cars.

Yeah. Looking on Google Maps, it just dosen't seem like there is that much parking. We will see what happens on Thursday.

I ve been to this park before for a soccer tourney there really isn't too much parking and the problem is compounded by the tennis center when in use.

Maybe someone should think about running a shuttle service...maybe park at Vista Ridge HS and shuttle folks to the Park....Idk.

Yeah. Luckily we are in the 1:00 pool. 2:00 pool will be a problem.

I heard Bosephus Jones and his crew will be parking cars for free. Just make sure you don't have a full tank because they have the tendency to go shopping and get burgers and chicken in your vehicle. :taunt:
