Are we able to subscribe to this magazine in future years, if we have not yet? So, we don't have to track a copy down each year. Love it.

Good question...you'd probably have to contact the publisher for that question

Is it just that the magazine is so knew they are having shipping problems or distribution problems? Just seems strange that little Brownwood has it but not one store in Waco has a copy?

I'll be in FW most of next week. Is there a place you suggest that has copies?

I personally think its a distributor issue...but thats just me...I'm just the guy who makes sure the magazine gets done...the business side isn't my pay grade

ccmom, just check Wal-Marts....I seem to have the most luck there

Barnes and Noble First Colony had a ton of College previews but not The Campbell Texas High School.

This was on Friday.

I know people are getting frustrated and worried but to be honest, the casual parent of most high school footballers won't look for the mag until August...so it is still early.

Scoop, there is a Hastings at 208 W. Hwy 332 in Lake Jackson.

Don't know if they have them.

"Casual parent"..... let me describe what my wife saw last night as she stepped into the living room.... a grown man with the Rangers on mute on the TV, audio player on laptop playing Sideline to Sideline Ranking 3A Districts while taking notes on the back of my complimentary copy of Texas Sports Hall of Fame magazine, with no less than 3 copies of DCTF magazine spread out on the ottoman (1 hardbound commemorative copy, 1 mailed softcover, and 1 softcover signed by Dave Campbell and bought because to impatient to wait for mailed copy), with 3 tabs on Firefox set on the Sideline to Sideline Facebook Page and 1 set to 3A Downlow. Along with notes of the rankings, I had a column of notes titled "Football Heads", listing the dads who helped with inflatable last year and could talk in-depth football of the week, with last years senior-dads marked out, trying to figure out who in the junior class could possibly fill in (which looked a little suspect, to be honest.).

Classify: Casual, Remotely Involved, Helicopter, Monday Morning Arm Chair, Certifiably Sports Insane, Senior-Parent....

BTW Barnes and Noble did not have FNF yet today in Waco.

I've been checking in LJ all week with no luck. Hastings, Wal-Mart, Kroger, HEB...nothing.

Finally, FNF mag. has arrived. And not surprised for any love from old coach or DC both, but .... I feel a lot of people will be surprised with BHS. Of course with the changing of the guard reports on what to exspect from us would be sparse, And what is reported is not totally accurate. So, heres to hoping for a respectable showing next week and raising some eyebrows for the season.

None at Kroger, HEB, Walmart, Randalls or Barnes-Noble in the Katy area. It amazes me how remote areas of the state seem to have them, but the Houston area has zero.

I found this on the magazines web site - " Sold via newsstand distributors, with major retailers including Wal-Mart, CVS, Barnes &
Noble, Tom Thumb, Target plus hundreds of other retailers."

I've got route mapped out for this AM that will cover - HEB (1) CVS(2) Kroger(2) Randalls (1) Barnes and Noble(1) Target(2) and Walmart(2). If I come home empty handed, I'm done. Touch football is wrapping up and it's time for the real deal. I guess this year that means pads, helmets, contact and DCTF.
