I'd say you've got Yoakum a bit underrated. They were pretty good from what I saw, and they did beat #26 Port Isabel in the Edna tournament.

PI at #26 and Edna #27 is fair, as they tied at 26-26 when they played each other in Edna.

Ingleside is at 14, that's fair I think they will be pretty good. They will definitely make some noise. I believe they will have a tough time with number 6 Navasota in pool D.

As I mentioned, our junior QB will be gone, but---the senior, that started every game last year, will be at the helm. This Yoakum team appears once again flying under the radar, by publications. A predicted 5th place district finish by one source, is amusing. The Bulldogs are much better than last year's club. And, I say---will end up being one of Yoakum's best ever clubs.

I agree FB. Just wonder how they make their predictions and from what. Do they use Hudl or other video? Or, just info a coach submits (often incorrect data on stat's, size, speed, etc) since I know they never even seen a Yoakum game before. Nor, attended a practice. My nephew runs the local paper and makes his own district prediction in the annual Fall Sports Pigskin Preview, and last year, DC projections as I recall, were off. Think we we're picked about the same, last in 2012. I could care less, and the team too. But, as a reader of the magazine, was just curious what some use for their projections? Appears nothing, just blind draw from a stack of school names.

#62 Bandera played a warmup game with #34 Boerne , with both teams at full strength Bandera 48 Boerne 29 , yet Boerne Qb Dormandy still out but other Qb did well

Ha! Wishful thinking my friend but I respect your homerism and regional loyalty. Graham won't be as intimidated by Gilmer if they meet again. Your can bet on that. Carthage will be a contender but they will have to get through an almost impossible gauntlet to make it the the big show. And if they happen to face Stephenville, it's over!

Carthrage likes to play teams that have little if any pulse in the preseason...the Bulldogs hate to loose & will blame the loss on weather, officiating, cheators, rough play, time of the month, etc...They dislike the Buckeyes & we are a much smaller, poor school that has to make do with meager facilities (no jumbotron or indoor practice facility), raw talent, small in size, & not very fast...we just happen to catch some on off nights, flu epidemics, food poisoning, moon phase, etc... we are so lucky to make it to the playoffs...I just hope our luck holds out this year cause everyone is so young.

White house ranked number 6 in 4a and they play Jacksonville and scrimmage Kilgore, two of the same teams the buckeys play. I would not call any of them week sisters, but you can.
