Astros are 30-51 but we're not as bad as the marlins haha. Pirates are the best team in baseball and the Red Sox are leading the AL east. Dodgers, blue jays & angels are sucking it up despite all the trades. Giants are 4 games below .500 and there's a buncha no name dudes leading several of the stats categories. No other gigantic surprises IMO. Been a fun season so far :)

Look for the St. Louis Cardinals to continue their dominant play in the 2nd half. Their team is really loaded with bats. The Rangers did take 2 of 3 from them last week, but IMO that team is very strong in the NL. When the Rangers played them last week, the Cards had the best record in baseball. Looks like the Oakland A's are for real after all...no drop off from last season's amazing finish. The Rangers have been a pleasant surprise, but really have a great mix of young and older players to maintain pace with the division leaders in the AL. Depth of talent at AAA and AA help the Rangers, even though they have had some injuries to some of the pitching staff. Bench players have been able to get plenty of playing time early on this season for Texas...which could help them down the stretch in August when the hot days wear on a team.

Still can't watch the 'Stros on tv.

It has been fun following the Dodgers' Yasiel Puig though.

It's been about a week since I posted this and the dodgers have all of a sudden won 10/11 with Puig and Hanley absolutely tearing it up.

They've gone from last in the division to 2nd, so look out
