I'm in Houston proper just a little north of downtown. My thermometer outside at one point showed 104.

This is some BS, I absolutely HATE summer!

The wind is out of the north in Gilmer and it only got to 91 today.

By Monday it's only supposed to be in the upper 80s.

Lows are going down into the mid- or even low-60s for the next several nights. Almost too good to be true.

Car said 106 in Stephenville today, but I don't know how accurate it is...

For as long as I can remember the summers have been hot and humid in our part of Texas.
I like it. Nothing like a good cleansing sweat.
I worked outside most of the day and didn't even use the AC in my truck.

Sounds like someone has had a little late night / early morning adult beverage...

I'm the complete opposite. I LOVE winter! Especially when the temperature gets down into the upper 20s low 30s. That's when I can actually do some real hard work around the house and go for a good long jog. Anything hotter than 60 and I sweat like a ho in church.

LOL ho comment

I agree with a temp in the 30's and 40's for a long run. Anything above 60... My engine starts to overheat.

Only 103 today in Sweeny; you can tell a difference. Humidity not as high as yesterday.

I love the heat. The hotter the better for me.

I'm usually out running around 2:00 every afternoon...:crazy1:
