Any move-ins your coaches excited about? Any move-outs you hate to see go?

I still don't know much yet....but sounds like Burnet has actually done OK in the move-in department. So far:

1) Korey Campbell - comes from Hillsboro. Incoming junior. Offensive MVP at WR as a soph. Not sure if he's here yet. Saw his dad today so maybe already moved in...

2) Kid named Bell. Plays DB. Currently helping on 7 on 7. Not sure where he is from but I think he's from Westwood. Can anyone confirm? Greendawg?

3) Unknown kid. I forgot his name. I first noticed him during summer workouts because of his size. Incoming junior. I'm hearing he will probably be one starting LB. If so, could be a strength for Burnet who have junior Kody Hall. A beast last year as a soph....

Move-outs:
1) WR Corey Cavender moving out. BB coach Dad took a job I believe in Cedar Park or Leander. Corey is going to be a junior. He will be missed.

....man ya'll are way too secretive for my liking.....it's not like many coaches come on here and say, "Holy crap! they got them a new move in! Better send us a scout over to their first practice and check him out!"......give me a break Downlow!.....now I'm thinkin' I'm going on a Downlow sabbatical that's right cause I don't like to be ignored and I'm just really really upset right now! (hands on hips and spoken with a slight lisp)......:crazy1:

Although it appears you must have some depth due to your 7v7 success, Cavender seems to be a big loss as it was him along with the two SRs, Langley and Barnard, that did all the damage in the Liberty Hill game last year.

You sure about that? Maybe Offensive MVP of the team? Wasn't Offensive MVP of district - that was Glen Rose QB Cody Burtscher.
The only Hillsboro player to get any 7-3A recognition was #3 Bryan Segura. He got 2nd team WR and Safety.

Cavendar is a big loss!...not only that, we lost his little bro (incoming frosh) as well who is quite the player..Again, hope the Campbell kid can fill in them big Cavender shoes...I finally saw him last Tuesday refing the younger 7 on 7 boys...good size at about 5'11"...looks like he could put on some weight.......Does look like Burnet has some boys stepping up to the plate....juniors to be Kody Jones (remember that name - big target), Darius Johnson and Kedrick Hill along with returning players Blayne Parisher & Trenton Hafley have all played well. Should be fun....and don't you worry Turin, more damage is to come!.....:stirpot:....by the way, welcome to the Downlow!...Dang, another Liberty Hill folk I gotta argue with!.......first panfan, then LHPfactory, etc.....Greendawg, you can have Turin!!!

I stand corrected...looks like he was Co-Offensive MVP according to Hillsboro newspaper....nevertheless, we'll take him......I met his dad who will be AD of middle school...I really liked him...Coach Jones is making some good hires...http://hillsbororeporter.com/banquet-honors-hhs-athletes-p16283-55.htm

Cam the other move in you are referring too is Eric Walker can play both ILB and OLB positions. Great addition to the "D" for the fall.
On the "O" side of the ball I think other teams will end up with some match up problems with Jones and Huff at the WR positions both were problems for teams all summer long in 7on7. They are about 6'2" and 6'3" and our inside receivers are money. Cory will be missed but I believe Darius and Brock will step in right where Cory left off. BTW Brock is quicker and faster than Cory. Derek has been very good this summer, reads defenses very well and can make the necessary adjustments at the line as needed. Throws a very tight ball.

Here's a few pics I took of 6'2" Cody Jones (#20) and 6'3" Austin Huff (#2) at last weeks 7 on 7. I'm really lookin' forward to watchin' these boys play!

Hey B-Dad, on my previous post, if ya click on the pic to enlarge it, doesn't the Jones boy (#20) kinda look like Eli Manning just a tad?.....

Here's WR Blayne Parisher (#11) who looks like he's really filled out. B-Dad, since you know these boys better than I do, where do you think he will fit in? Boy catches everything in sight!

Soph. WR Darius Johnson mentioned in DCTF. How do you compare him to soph. Brock Foster?

Soph. RB Brock Foster competed in Round Rock right after 7 on 7 and qualified for TAAF state track meet in Corpus. I heard he was pretty tired! Foster was second in the boys 15-16 200 meters and won the long jump with a 19-5. Good luck to him! That boy is a runnin' jumpin' fool!......
