When have you made a statement about or talked a lot of crap about a team and happened to barely escape eating the pot of crow...

I remember Jasper's first year in 3A...

A lot of people on another message board kept saying Jasper was gunna win state... I felt they weren't going to so I said "If Jasper wins state this year, I'll never post on this board again"...

Phew, then came Burnet...

A lot of Jasper folks ate crow last year. I never said that Jasper would go all the way, but I sure wanted them to.

I think that the biggest crow eater this year has to be PPHSfan. At least he's man enough to do it.

As far as not having to eat crow, the Jasper Diboll game was really close. Unfortunately some of the Diboll people aren't accepting their crow due to the fact that the game was close. Oh well. A loss is a loss and I'm just glad that it wasn't me eating the honey mustard flavored crow. :D
