Sinton's new turf football field

Rumor going around that Sinton got the field turf on the football field because they can’t take care of their grass. Now they are looking into a bond to turf the boys and girls standaround fields.

I will say this... and I know Pancho, who was gracious enough to put the chicken down to type, is just trying to stir the pot... but a few years ago I was fortunate enough to make the baseball playoffs and then play at Sinton... it was a top notch facility... enjoyed playing there

Lorena passed $22m bond, which includes turf, press box, weight room, to go along with the new scoreboard we raised funds to buy.

Why not turf the baseball field? It is the only program that has multiple state championships.

I always found the grass in Sinton to be good...really good crystallization and smell for sure.

There has been rumors of layin turf on the baseball and softball fields but don't see it happening for a long while. With the bond passing for the new middle school. 2 new elementary schools just recently built and the up-grades to the atheletic facilities, you could probably say Sinton ISD is a tad in the red right now!
