Real fun for us. That first game had to be hard on the Ricebirds. They showed a lot of character coming back and playing such a tough second game. It would have been easy to roll over.

Sinton lost to Kingsville yesterday but sweep the 2 games today 13-0 and 14-1. Poetic justice as the Sinton Lady Pirates softball team was eliminated in the playoffs earlier by Kingsville and it wasn't to happen again in baseball.

Robstown also beat Hidalgo today typing the series and deciding game 3 is going on now but I don't have any updates.
