That's what I heard from one Burnet oldtimer....I think folks are gettin' excited again in this town.........we've got a new coach who got a very young team to the playoffs last season when nobody expected it, a good bunch of kids coming up along with some very upbeat parents.....Hopefully, we'll get things fired up around here again....I'm certainly going to try my darndest.....:2thumbsup

I sure hope you're right Emerson1.......Expectations are high round here......and a young coach with a chip on his shoulder....should get interesting......I still remember driving into Burnet back in 2002 with my family when we still lived in Mesquite....we were just takin' a trip.....We had no idea Burnet was in the midst of a SC run......Got into town I believe on the day they were playing Jasper.......Dang, it was a ghost town....nobody was home....signs on the stores sayin' they were closed for the game......crazy!.....I hope I can experience that myself with my last kid......some of you follks sure have been fortunate!....

I'm an old bulldog who still keeps his ear to the downlow, but I just don't speak out much anymore. But I do love to watch you younger ones bash each other. Really enjoy Cam's antics trying to stir the pot. Sure looking forward to the 2013 season ahead. Can't wait ...... ought to be hearing about season tickets real soon. Haven't missed a home gaime since the present stadium was built.
