Argyle Liberty Christian defeated Houston St. Pius 6-1 to claim the TAPPS 5A baseball title Tues. Liberty Christian(27-13) got by Plano Prestonwood(29-6) by one run to make it to the final. Houston St. Pius ended their season at 26-9. Argyle Liberty Christian last won a state baseball title back in 2009. Congrats to the Warriors on their achievement. Now I'm wondering if both of the Argyle schools will win state in baseball this year in their respective classifications. That would be an unusual occurrence for such a small town. What would be the odds of that happening? I'm saying pretty good now. Go Eagles!!
